Obama and McCain Joint Town Halls

that would be really cool.

i'm hoping that with obama and mccain, we'll get to hash out issues, unlike the foolishness that's gone on with hillary. i know the extremists of the republican party will continue to send out their silly little barack hussein obama emails and all that -- the easiest way to scare and manipulate the ignorant voters -- but it seems to me that mccain is ready to tackle the issues.

i think most americans would be relieved to hear an honest debate in a town hall style, without goofy media moderators.

mccain seems to want to win the contest based on his merits. perhaps i'm giving mccain too much credit? we'll see.

cnn: Sen. Barack Obama said Saturday that if he were to become the Democratic nominee, holding joint town hall-style campaign events with Republican Sen. John McCain would be a "great idea."

"Obviously, we would have to think through the logistics on that," Obama continued. "But … if I have the opportunity to debate substantive issues before the voters with John McCain, that's something that I am going to welcome."
