Michael Steele Says Good Riddance to Specter

Steele says he's not surprised. Specter stepped on republican toes and republicans weren't happy with him. Steele says Specter's jump is about political survival. Well, yeah. So what does that mean? It means that the GOP is becoming more irrelevant.
Steele says good riddance:

Republicans react. Mitch McConnell calls Specter's switch a threat to the country. Again, the democratic party, from it's conservative Blue Dogs to its New Democrat Coalition, is more reflective of the nation. No threat, only progress.
