Romney's in the Deep End of Desperation

The last thing, the very last thing I'd think about Obama is that he's trying to hang on to power. That's absurd. What's even more absurd is Romney saying Obama is driven by "division and attack and hatred."
Another thing, the Romney campaign needs to keep up its whining because it's a sign of weakness, and Americans don't go in for weakness. Obama has faced down so many attacks, including personal attacks, without whining and always with grace.
Another thing, republicans have no business telling anyone else what is racist. I mean, seriously. Republicans have questioned Obama's birthplace -- since 2008! And that's just scratching the surface.
In some of his harshest words yet against the president, Romney said Obama was "running just to hang onto power, and I think he would do anything in his power" to remain in office. Romney's comments escalated an already acrimonious campaign fueled by negative and sometimes false advertisements, as well as personal insults from the candidates and their surrogates. Obama's campaign said Romney's fresh assertions seemed "unhinged." Romney replied: "I think unhinged would have to characterize what we've seen from the president's campaign." "These personal attacks, I think, are just demeaning to the office of the White House," he added. AP
Perhaps Romney's dive into the deep end was intentional. Interesting theory.

Romney seems to have a bad case of psychological projection, transferring his own problems to Obama:
