Obama's Speech on Fiscal Policy April 13

Read the speech here. Full video:

It was a remarkable speech, one of his best, and a workable plan. Essentially, Obama said that we're still a country that cares for its people and we don't have to kill what we believe in to reduce the deficit. Obama said the GOP's plan makes the poor and middle class bear most of the pain, while the wealthiest skate. Obama's plan calls for shared sacrifice -- tax increases and spending cuts. Obama said he won't renew tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires. Joe Biden will be working with Congressional leaders beginning in May to come up with a final plan to reduce the deficit by end of June.
Love this dead on message to "bold progressives" upset because they didn't get their unicorn.
