ComicBook: Move over President Barack Obama! First Lady Michelle Obama has become the latest political figure to make the transition to comic books. Indy comic publisher Bluewater Productions will publish a 4-issue mini-series called Female Force that will feature prominent women who are highly influential in today’s government. The first pair of issues, due out later this month, will feature former First Lady Hillary Clinton and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Bluewater will set the issues to focus on the two politicians’ historic runs for office in the 2008 Presidential election.
Campbell Brown has found her voice. Stop the sexist treatment of Sarah Palin, she says to the McCain camp, who won't let Palin out of her bubble to speak to the media and the American people. Stop treating her like a "delicate flower that will wilt at any moment." The irony: it really is sexism. Palin is a republican tool, being manipulated and exploited to win an election. Sadly, women who want to believe the Palin myth, have fallen for it. The men not so much. I think they know what Palin represents.
Obama was is Spider Man and now Michelle will be in Female Force. Bluewater Productions, the publisher, has sold out of its Sarah Palin comic, now in its second printing. Bluewater also has a Colin Powell comic.
