Our newest national poll finds that Congress only has a 9% favorability rating with 85% of voters viewing it in a negative light. We've seen poll after poll after poll over the last year talking about how unpopular Congress is but really, what's the difference between an 11% or a 9% or a 7% favorability rating? So we decided to take a different approach and test Congress' popularity against 26 different things. Congress is More Disgusting than Lice
Here, again, Congress means democrats and republicans, but it's really the House republicans that are worse than lice, brussel sprouts and Nickelback. House republicans aren't just standing in the way of the nation's progress, they appear desirous of going back in time. It's just poor reporting to blame an entire body when it's a few bad apples. It's difficult for political reporters to name republicans because they don't want to appear biased. But if the press found a way to call out the appropriate party, it might help improve Congress's ability to get things done. From PPP:
