The week ahead:
Sun: Travel to Mexico
Tues: Town Hall Portsmouth N.H.
Wed: Reception for Sotomayor, Medal of Freedom ceremony (see recipients here)
Aug.14: First Family in Bozeman, Montana (Obama has a town hall)
Aug. 15: First Family in Yellowstone, Wyoming and Grand Junction, Colorado
Aug. 16: First Family visit the Grand Canyon.
On the town hall violence, Gibbs says we can have honest policy disagreements without being violent. If you have a strong opinion, come to the town hall meeting, but have respect for others, Gibbs advises.
