Troopergate Results Due in Oct.
NYT: ANCHORAGE — The legislative inquiry into whether Gov. Sarah Palin or her administration abused its power in the dismissal of Alaska’s public safety commissioner will release its findings well before Election Day, despite a lack of cooperation by several witnesses, the leader of the inquiry said Friday.
State Senator Hollis French, the Democrat who is overseeing the inquiry, said the special investigator hired by the Alaska Legislature, Stephen Branchflower, had assured him he would issue a report by Oct 10.
