I like the musical chair analogy. Suze Orman, the personal finance guru, said it best: Our economy has been fueled on deceit. Too many people at the top taking advantage of too many people (who couldn't afford their lifestyles) because they could. If there's easy money to be made and no one's looking, why not? The exploiters and the exploited have blame. But clearly, the Bush administration should've seen it coming. Maybe they knew but looked the other way. Maybe they hoped for the crash to come in another 2 years, after Bush left office.
