She comes across as a nitwit, knowing little about economics and even less about foreign policy. But others seem to think she's legit, the real deal. Nobody who likes her seems to be interested in the facts. Here's the business she said she ran.
Maybe she'll prove us wrong, if she gets the opportunity to be vice president. If she gets to be president, we'll be in far worse shape. Mostly, it's insulting that McCain would make such a choice and try and pass her off as a reformer maverick. All of it seems to be clever marketing, exploitation and a bunch of bunk. Then again, maybe we're all thinking too highly of the presidency. Maybe any of us could be president. After George Bush, that certainly seems plausible.
