If there ever was a science and technology president, Obama is it. See all of Obama's science and tech initiatives at the Office of Science and Technology. Obama just hosted Neil deGrasse Tyson at the White House for the science fair.
This is a clear example of how the republicans have created an imaginary Obama to battle, a far stretch from the real Obama. Santorum is referencing fracking and an EPA report that links some water contamination to fracking. Many communities have great concerns about fracking. I encourage everyone to Google fracking and hydraulic fracturing. I haven't heard Obama ever speak on fracking, so Santorum must be linking EPA's reports to Obama thoughts. Also, the EPA has called natural gas drilling a source of energy for the future, so it's not as if the EPA's against fracking. The EPA is exploring complaints from actual people concerned about their water supply.
As far as science goes, isn't Santorum a climate change denier? Isn't he an intelligent design advocate? Santorum has stepped out of his bounds.
