This is a live stream that's supposed to start any minute now. Has a deal been made to extend tax cuts for all in exchange for extending unemployment insurance? Probably. The tax cuts are likely to be extended for the next two years so that each side, republicans and democrats, can make taxes a campaign issue. So good of them. Ezra Klein appears to have the details. Unemployment will be extended for 13 months. The earned income tax credit, the child tax credit and the American opportunity tax credit will be extended.
