Democrats Put on a Show Over Tax Cuts

Liberal democrats are pitching a fit and presenting a good show for their supporters. Obama never had the votes to end tax cuts for the rich because many democrats SUPPORTED tax cuts for the rich. Obama needed all the democrats and a few republicans to vote against tax cuts for the rich. He didn't have a single republican vote. He didn't have all the democrats. It's simple math.
Why isn't the media reporting this?
Take a look at the list of democrats who SUPPORTED tax cuts for the rich. Obama said that after a meeting with democrats on Nov. 18, he found they weren't unified in how to move forward.
Here's the problem with the democrats. They face unified republicans, even if all they do is say no, and yet within their own party, democrats aren't unified on anything. The democrats are having a left vs. right battle among themselves. It's the liberals vs. the blue dogs. It's a fight for power within the party, kind of how the tea party battled for power within the republican party. The problem for Americans is that the extremes of both parties are fighting for control, which means gridlock.
The democrats failed to unite on tax cuts and Obama had to step in before tax cuts expired for all of us at the end of the year. Millions also needed their unemployment extended.
