Obama will speak tomorrow at 1:30 pm eastern time at George Washington University, laying out his vision for deficit reduction. Carney said it's imperative that the debt ceiling is raised and that Obama won't be talking about the debt ceiling tomorrow.
Unlike the GOP's budget plan which cuts services, eliminates Medicare as we know it by 2022 and repeals the healthcare act, Obama's plan will likely include some SHARED SACRIFICE. Carney offered a hint, saying that the GOP plan puts the burden on middle class, disabled and seniors. Meanwhile the wealthy bear no pain.
