Huckabee and Bachmann Say Time to Move on

In a sign that republicans may realize that the good fight is with the 2012 budget, not the one that funds the rest of 2011, Mike Huckbee says cut a deal and tea party leader Obamacare Michele Bachmann said she's moved on. The one and only Karl Rove has come up with his own republican face saver -- a shutdown will strengthen Obama. 
Frankly, there's too much at stake to shut down the government, especially troop pay. It's criminal for their pay to be partial and delayed. Looking on the bright side, at least a whole lot of people are learning what government does and how government affects their daily lives. CNN has a chart on what would/wouldn't be closed in the event of a shutdown.
Mike Huckabee urged his fellow Republicans to throw in the towel on the budget stalemate, saying the GOP has the "most to lose" and needs to show it understands the personal impact a government shutdown would have on everyday Americans. Read more at politico
The media is much too gleeful about a possible shutdown.
