We know (hope) a deal is nigh. Mark Knoller says there's been a pizza delivery to the White House. Neither side wins in a shutdown. Right now, republicans and democrats alike are losers. Shame on them for bringing it the wire, especially when Obama's got so much on his plate, trying to balance a world that's in turmoil, while trying to improve the economy. Folks older than 10 are supposed to know what compromise means.
