White House Press Briefing on Karzai's Visit

Gen. Stanley McChrystal and Ambassador Karl Eikenberry join Gibbs.
The White House press is mystified as to how this meeting with Karzai is going forward when Karzai has criticized the U.S.
Gibbs essentially says what he always says when it comes to Karzai--there is no other choice.
Hamid Karzai is the president and the Obama administration has to work with Karzai. They all have to move past their differences, even Eikenberry, who's been critical of Karzai and McChrystal.
Eikenberry avoided all questions on his past skepticism of Karzai.
McChrystal seems to be the only one who is actual pals with Karzai and his administration.
Helen asks as McChrystal and Eikenberry are leaving: why are we in Afghanistan with all the killing and dying.
