McCain Restricting His and Palin's Interviews

Palin's speech tonight is being carefully crafted for her-- it's being designed to introduce her as a reformer, but it's not clear if she'll be answering media questions any time soon.

McCain himself pulled out of an interview with CNN after Campbell Brown-- the only reporter I've seen so far -- asked serious questions (video) of McCain's spokesguy Tucker Bounds.

She didn't let him off the hook with the standard republican response these days: She has more experience than Obama.

Is snubbing the media the sign of a wise and reasonable president? Or is it a sign that a John McCain presidency will be another George Bush full of rashy gut decisions.

No matter how hard McCain tries to align himself with the youthful mooseburger-eating Palin, he's still the irrational guy who voted with Bush 90% of the time. For that matter, no matter how youthful and moose-eating Palin is, she's more like George Bush than John McCain.
