McCain Leaves Out The Trash and the Meat

Unlike Ms. Mooseburger, designed to be the pit bull, McCain left out the trash and appealed to the independent voters, as if last night's ugly partisanship never happened.

Speech was harmless - C over all -- B for lack of attacks. But there was no plan or vision. Here's McCain's plan: Keep tax cuts for the rich, charter schools, no earmarks, family tax credit, drill here drill now. Oh and fight. Because there are lots of enemies.

For the record, Palin - A for delivery - D for value. 

If it was the most important speech of McCain's career, as the media are billing it, he lost. But I don't think these speeches mean that much. We're waiting for the debates.

A few Code Pink protesters interrupted, which is a shame. That of course will be blamed on the Obama camp.
