Update Sept. 16: See Netanyahu, who was wisely tempered in his remarks, on MTP here.
Israel's rightwing leader Netanyahu, best buds with GOP sugar man, Sheldon Adelson, will be on Meet the Press this Sunday. Many are speculating he's inserting himself into our elections because he's trying to unseat Obama in favor of Romney, who appears ready to do Netanyahu's bidding.
Obama hasn't bowed to Netanyahu, who's aching to bomb Iran. In general, Netanyahu has more in common with the severely conservative, easily manipulated Mitt. But I'll reserve judgement until I see Netanyahu's interview. Netanyahu has a lot to lose if he outright endorses Mitt, seeing as Mitt's not likely to win. Also, I think Obama and Netanyahu have a mutual respect, even if they don't like each other personally. We shall see.
