During an interview early this evening with Radio Iowa, Mrs. Romney directly addressed her fellow Republicans who’ve criticized her husband. “Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,” she said. “This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.” Listen to the interview at Radio IowaIn the interview, Ann says she suffered so much in the 2008 campaign, she made a video for Mitt saying she'd never help him run for president again. Of the debates, Ann says after each question he'll look at Ann for approval: "Did I do okay, Ann? Was that okay?" Seriously.

Poor Ann Romney Campaigning is Tough For Her Husband
Mitt has only been running for president for 7 years. You'd think he'd have a clue. And Ann Romney doesn't seem to get it. The Romneys are such incredible whiners. The republican attacks on Obama have been constant and extreme. Michelle Obama has been called the harshest of names available to the GOP. They've made fun of her butt (really), her speech, her looks. You name it. Most of the attacks against FLOTUS have been racist, and yet, she always handles it with grace because she knows she's better than that. She's a confident woman. She's strong to the core. Ann Romney? Not so much, a little out of her league. And there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone is cracked up to be First Lady. This time she's complaining about her fellow republicans:
