The answer is yes, but there's so much more progress to be made, obvious to everyone. The media likes to ask this question because it's sort of a trick question that can be easily picked up by the opponents and spliced into an ad. The Obama camp can't appear to boast, when so many people are still unemployed, and yet, progress has been made despite republicans standing in the way since Obama took office. That's not an excuse. That's a fact. Republicans will reckon with that if Obama is elected to a second term. It also will help to vote more democrats to Congress.
