Obama Speaks at White House Forum on Women and Economy

The White House has released a report on women and the economy.

One of the key things Obama said: Even after you've won, sometimes you have to still keep fighting. Speaking of, yesterday Obama said women should be invited to join the all-mens Augusta golf club, which hosts the Masters. Today, Romney agreed. Santorum and Newt too. (Sean Hannity appears to be the lone dissenter). I guess this is further proof, we women get to be the political football this year.
A reporter for the New York Times was reprimanded for saying if she had her druthers, she wouldn't cover the Masters until a woman was invited to play:
The golf writer for the New York Times told a website Thursday she wouldn't want to cover the Masters again until Augusta National invites a woman to be a member.

"If it were left to me, which it seldom is in the power structure of writer versus editor, I'd probably not come cover this event again until there is a woman member," Karen Crouse told GOLF.com. "More and more, the lack of a woman member is just a blue elephant in the room."

Contacted by The Associated Press, New York Times sports editor Joe Sexton said the comments were, "completely inappropriate and she has been spoken to." More at CSM
