The Better Obama Does The More Republicans Oppose Him

Well, this is a twist. Felix Salmon, a Reuters financial blogger, says we should vote for Romney because of republican knee-jerk opposition to everything Obama does. Interesting, but bad logic. Contrary to popular opinion, there's more at stake than the economy, which is on the mend.
What we should do is vote out the republicans (tea partiers) we voted into Congress in 2010, which gave republicans the majority in the House and enough in the Senate to make progress highly improbable. Obama needs, at the very least, moderate republicans, practically extinct.
