Obama Holds News Conference Oct. 6

Boehner says Obama quit governing to campaign. Yep, and I don't blame him. Republicans have refused to negotiate, cooperate or in any other way do anything that moves this country forward, so Obama has little choice. The republicans have stated again and again: It's our way or nothing. They have stated again and again, their singular goal is to oust Obama from office. They made that calculated decision at the start of Obama's term.
Granted, Obama really hasn't stopped governing. Of course not. He has so many other tasks to tend to. Quitting governing is not an option. But he has ramped up his campaigning. And good for him. Besides, people don't much care for the governing Obama (reality). They'd rather be all inspired and stuff with the campaigning Obama (idealistic).
