Conservative Hateism Might Weigh on GOP in 2012

Social conservatives spend a lot of time hating people and backing candidates who hate the right people. Conservatives, many who strangely enough call themselves religious, don't like Perry because they hate immigrants. They don't like Romney because he's a Mormon. If you're a conservative vying to be president, you have to hate with a vengeance. They won't vote for Cain because ultimately, he's black and they hate black people. They never would've voted for Chris Christie because he appointed a Muslim judge and they hate Muslims. Michele Bachmann is the only candidate with full hater cred. She hates gay people, non Christians, immigrants.... But her lack of wits has doomed her. All that hate might just add up to a big fat loss for the republicans in 2012.
The Texas pastor who introduced Gov. Rick Perry at Friday's Values Voters Summit in Washington told reporters that he does not believe that former Massachusetts Mitt Romney is a Christian, and called Romney's Mormon faith a "cult." "Well, Rick Perry's a Christian. He's an evangelical Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ," Jeffress told NBC News. "Mitt Romney's a good moral person but he's not a Christian. Mormonism is not Christianity. It has always been considered a cult by the mainstream of Christianity. So it's the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian." msnbc
