Georgia is the latest state to propose legislation that questions whether President Barack Obama was born in the U.S., joining 10 other states who have measures that want more proof before his name is put on the 2012 ballot. Read more at the APStates want more proof of Obama's citizenship, despite the fact that Hawaii has certified that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii. Unless Obama goes back in a time machine and is filmed emerging from his mother's womb in a Hawaiian hospital, there will never be enough evidence for the birthers. Birthers are irrational people masking their bigotry. Republicans are along for the ride.
