Palin Emerging as Tea Party Leader

If there is no longer "American exceptionalism" it's because of the kind of mediocrity coming from the folks in this video. All of these people sound ignorant and yet they are getting all of this attention. Sarah Palin is one of the most mediocre people there is and yet she has emerged as a leader. The tea party is a symptom of our reality TV culture. Intelligence is no longer an asset. The tea party derides intelligence as elitism. We're witnessing the further dumbing down of America:

But no doubt about it now, they are an ignorant crop of people and bigotry and hate, or what they call "freedom," seems to be the common bond among tea partiers.
