Snowe is What a Normal Republican Looks Like

Sen. Olympia Snowe, taking heat from the left and the right, is what republicans looked like before Limbaugh, Beck and the rest of the loudmouths hijacked the party. She's representing the people of Maine, doing the right thing and they're pleased. Going forward, Snowe won't be as amenable on the public option (she's a fan of a triggering the public option if the insurance companies don't do the right thing) but at least the basic tenets of health care reform are in place, which can be built on over time. What's next? Obama could get a final bill by Thanksgiving.
