Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch raised the prospect that President Barack Obama is waiting until after this year's gubernatorial election in New Jersey and Virginia before he makes a decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan.
"Some people have suggesting he’s waiting until after the election because they have some tough governorships up for election," Hatch said in an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union with John King, "I hope that’s not the case." Politico
