Obama's Interview With Savannah Guthrie

Obama says sometimes men need to be knocked across the head to recognize sacrifices they might need to make or relief they might need to give to their spouses. This interview is part of NBC's series, A Women's Nation.
Obama says the strategy on Afghanistan might be formulated before the presidential runoff, but the strategy isn't likely to be announced until after.
Obama's lower approval ratings on his handling of Afghanistan shows that sometimes it doesn't matter what the public thinks because they don't know enough to know any better. Of any issue, Obama's deliberations and rethinking of strategy in Afghanistan has been one of the best things he's done yet.
Obama talks about his mother's work with micro financing in developing countries. He says a society can be measured by how well it treats women.
