Gen. Stanley McChrystal was supposed to use the chain of command to communicate with Obama, not make documents available to be leaked to Bob Woodward and make speeches in London. McChrystal should've known that, politically speaking, John McCain and the neoconservative war mongers are going to have a cow if the U.S. doesn't send more troops. What McChrystal did was make Afghanistan a political football. In real life, McChrystal should be fired. Why did McChrystal undermine the Commander in Chief? That's what I want to know. What role is McCain playing?
