Sarah Palin To Resign

I hope she's landed a talk show and never runs for office again. The question remains: Why would she be resigning? I'll update when there's an answer.
Palin says she took a poll within her family and they all agreed, she would be more useful outside of the bloodsport of politics. She says her family thought Trig was being mocked too much. Who was mocking Trig?
She's taking her fight for Alaska in a new direction (That's what she said). She sounded completely flustered but self-righteous. She set herself up as a martyr, the sweet mother who didn't want to do politics as usual, banged around by all the big guys. She blamed everyone for her resignation.
I'm not thinking there are any scandals, rather this resignation proves just how inept she is in big time politics. Besides, she truly does have a big family to care for.
Sarah Palin plans to step down as governor of Alaska, KTUU-TV reported Friday.

Palin, the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2008, won't finish out her first term as governor, the station said.

Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell will take over, KTUU reported. MSNBC
Palin will be resigning within weeks. Read more here.
