It seems to me that if you're going to vote against someone, you should do it in person. Sonia Sotomayor was approved by the committee: 13 to 6. All of the republicans on the committee voted against her except for Lindsey Graham. Sessions, Hatch, Grassley, Coburn, Kyl, Cornyn voted no.
