Rumsfeld Memo Cover Sheets Reveal War Against Islam

GQ magazine had the scoop, but NYT's David Sanger is skeptical that the cover sheets were prepared by Rumsfeld (in the video below). But who did and why? It has always been my hunch that the Bush-Cheney administration wasn't fighting a war on terror but rather a war on Islam (and not just radical islam). If this is true, it all makes sense. This is why our nation is in such a deep hole. Our leaders were twisted, misguided at best. You can't justify the invasion of a country through religion. That's soooooo wrong. These covers raise a whole lot of questions.
From GQ:
The briefing’s cover sheet generally featured triumphant, color images from the previous days’ war efforts: On this particular morning, it showed the statue of Saddam Hussein being pulled down in Firdos Square, a grateful Iraqi child kissing an American soldier, and jubilant crowds thronging the streets of newly liberated Baghdad. And above these images, and just below the headline SECRETARY OF DEFENSE, was a quote that may have raised some eyebrows. It came from the Bible, from the book of Psalms: “Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him…To deliver their soul from death.”
"Open the gates that the righteous nation shall enter" it says on one memo cover. That's just sick. GQ has a slideshow of the top secret intelligence memo coversheets here.
