Brooks: Republicans Offer No Change Policy

NYT's conservative columnist David Brooks on This Week said McCain has change in him but the party hasn't thought about policy. The republican policy is average, he said.

Brooks on Palin's upcoming interviews: politicians are able to spin a little bit of knowledge into a coherent answer, so for those hoping she falls flat, myself included, don't hold your breath. He said he's been hearing that she's real good.

If McCain wins, there will be a democratic house and democratic senate. He'll have to have democrats in his cabinet, Brooks said, because there won't be enough republicans. On CBS, McCain said he'd bring democrats into his cabinet but he made it sound like he had a choice.

Imagine the work that could get done with a democratic senate, house, president.
