why did he do that? don't know but he sure is sorry. he ought to be. i don't think republicans, in general, have any affinity for martin luther king, who was murdered 40 years ago. civil rights just isn't their thing. the divide between the rich and the poor-- not at the top of their list. they just can't relate.
