you'd think everyone would need to know what they need to know of clinton and obama and we wouldn't need another debate. but surprisingly, to me anyway, many people aren't paying attention.
i heard an interview on npr this morning with philadelphia voters and most of them were clueless. one woman said many of the black voters in philly were just voting for obama because he was black. the woman, herself, had no clue about obama. others said they haven't heard any chatter about the contest.
i can't really blame them, though, for tuning out. government has done little to improve anyone's life. conservatives will say that's not government's job. but, yes, it is. to an extent. especially when government is using our money to war around the world, or to prop up the powerful.
