as if obama could change hearts and minds of racists with a speech. he can bring awareness to people and convince fence sitters to come on over but obama's not going to change that guy in pennsylvania who won't vote for "a black" simply because he's black.
that's going to have to be something that that man in pennsylvania works out for himself. so why are so many calling for another race speech? distraction, distraction, distraction. exploitation, exploitation, exploitation.
many of us are way beyond that and wish to get to the real issues, the mess we have in our own backyard and the mess that we've made in iraq. to keep calling attention to race is foolish. once he's elected, then we can have all the conversations we want.
the best way we can make moves to end racism is to get to work fixing our out-of-date educational system.
but some folks, who have their own political agendas, will continue to use race to bait and exploit the ignorant among us, who haven't a clue they're being used.
