Brooks Calls Bennett Ouster an Outrage

The republicans ousted conservative Utah Senator Bob Bennett in the primary because he voted for TARP and he worked with democrat Ron Wyden on a healthcare proposal. Brooks was an advocate of the Wyden-Bennett healthcare proposal and called the ouster of Bennett a "damn outrage." Republicans are just screwing themselves in the long run.
