"It was a kick," he said. When the U.S. snowboarding team asked to take a picture with him, Biden agreed, with one condition: His granddaughter, Maisy, needed to be in the picture.
Biden explained that Maisy had asked him if he could introduce her to Shaun White, the U.S. snowboarder. And after he did, he says he became a "hero."
"All that matters is what your granddaughters think," Biden said. "It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks." Read more at Politico
