Michelle Obama Helping to Boost DC Arts

The video below takes a look inside Busboys and Poets and the cultural renaissance taking place in DC. Andy Shallal, Busboys and Poets owner, says it's a place for progressives to refuel.

Today, Michelle Obama announced a White House music series, which will feature jazz, country and classical music. Tonight, it's jazz night at the White House.

Local DC students and performers were invited. Some of the performers: Paquito D’Rivera, Zach Brown, Kush Abadey, Elijah Easton and Tony Madruga and his ensemble.
