He's right. The argument that torture produces "high-value" information is simply a bogus argument for dull people.
Did Cheney-Bush even consider the ramifications of torture. The answer is obviously no. I bet Cheney was the ringleader, judging by the way he is strongly defending himself. I bet Cheney did it for revenge and gratification, not information. He seems to be that kind of guy. What does anyone really know about Cheney? During 8 years, I don't recall him acting human in any way. The FBI said that any information that was needed from the terrorists already came out before the torture.
