Mostly Conservative Men Listen to Rush Limbaugh

I bet they're angry and fearful men who like war. They're called conservative. Rush's program has the fewest women who listen -- his audience is 72% men. CNN, followed by Larry King and Bill O'Reilly, have the largest women audiences but still men dominate. The Daily Show and the Colbert Report have 66% and 62% male listeners.
Swamp: It's an 80 percent-pure conservative audience.

And it's more male than most commentators' audiences - "a male bastion."
I view Rush as a racist with too much money, so for me, anything he says is meaningless. But he's got appeal, according to a Pew study:
"Today, Bill O'Reilly's cable show (on FOX News Channel) attracts more conservatives on a regular basis than does Limbaugh's radio show, while Sean Hannity's program (on FOX) draws about as many conservatives as Limbaugh's.

"Yet by one standard,'' Pew reports, "Limbaugh's conservative appeal continues to stand out.
Here's the Pew report. The Swamp has a neat chart.
