Palin Backs Off Hate Rhetoric

Today at a rally in Ohio, Palin saved her terrorist rhetoric for the end. But when the crowd started to chant Obama as she talked about terrorists and how they're the bad guys, she pivoted to the economy. It was an awkward pivot but she avoided her usual spiel of tying Obama to terrorists.

Looks like McCain campaign has officially backed off the hate speech, at least at rallies. McCain is still floating the negative ads. Cokie Roberts said this morning on This Week With George S. that McCain now knows he's going to lose so he's going to try and save his integrity.

McCain needs to wake up to the fact that people are truly hurting and the majority of us aren't up for the divisiveness. But McCain doesn't have a policy to address the problems.
