China Delivers on Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Wowza. I know that China has been criticized for its human rights violations nearly every day for the past two weeks running, but it sure pulled off a spectacular opening ceremony.

I can understand why China wanted Bush to butt out. He shouldn't be criticizing any country, given his record.

China put a lot of work into the ceremonies. The media has been grumbling that security is tight and coverage is restricted but it's China's show. They've got a lot at stake. Neither Bush nor protesters will change a thing during the Olympics. 

McCain's ad was the first to appear and he decided to use a more mature ad for the Olympics.
