WaPo: Sen. John McCain hasn't had good luck joking about Iran. But he tried it again Tuesday.
Responding to a question about a survey that shows increased exports to
Iran, mainly from cigarettes, McCain said, "Maybe thats a way of killing them."
One of the commenters says McCain is saying what Americans really feel. Any American who thinks that bombing a country is a good thing is lacking marbles, like McCain, who ought to just beg off the jokes. It's not presidential or diplomatic. Could you imagine Obama joking about bombing a country? Not for a second. Not even in a private moment among friends. He's just not wired like that.
