well, since obama has stated this in plenty of town halls before, this isn't exactly news but the media wrote it today as news-- that he would repeal don't ask don't tell policy for gay people in the military.
apparently, obama's being criticized for not talking to the gay media. i guess they're feeling neglected.
but this is the thing about obama, this is what makes him different. he doesn't want to just talk to the gay media or this or that media, he's been trying to address all these issues with everyone. he's trying to address the whole because all of us should be aware of one another's issues because we're all connected, see.
in fact, he brought up this particular issue at a town hall in mississippi, saying that he would repeal the policy.
