Distraction, Distortion, Exploitation

update: obama holds a conference call. this is not for the voters. it won't sway anyone, only entrench sides. this is for the media to get off it because they're so bored and so unimaginative and reflexive.

people actually fell for it.
clinton's people are saying obama's remarks were elitist and obama supporters are defending his remarks. but if you look at all the comments on this story about the word "bitter" at the nyt, no one gets it, not even the obama supporters. people are taking the comments out of context. they're reading what they've been fed, not even bothering to take a look at the whole, not just a sentence by itself.
hasn't anyone learned anything?
i understand why clinton's backers would see it as they do. they have their "first-woman president" glasses on. but obama supporters are trying to defend him with the wrong arguments, which means they don't really understand at all. there's so much more in his remarks. it shows how deeply he understands the working-class person.
clinton is exploiting people (using their own predjudices), distorting (she must know better) and distracting (she's behind and here comes more of the kitchen sink).
