It will be much saner. Fingers crossed. The future looks bright, except for California, which is suffering from bigger woes, and could take much longer to turn itself around. Google's CEO Eric Schmidt talks about California's unique troubles:

Caterpillar boss and an economic advisor to Obama, Jim Owens, says he won't be rehiring workers, contrary to what he said to Obama:

Owens also took time to lobby Obama against the Buy American provision. I believe Obama has already said he's largely against that.
